Copy Pricing Plans

Once pricing is set up on the PRICE PLAN SETUP screen, pricing setups can be copied from one Mode to another in order to avoid having to re-enter them.

 

Menu Path: Customer, Accounts, Acct Pricing, Price Plan Setup, PRICE PLAN SETUP screen, COPY PRICE PLANS button, COPY PRICING PLANS screen

 

Select Pricing Modes

Select Mode to Copy From

'SELECT MODE'

Click the drop-down field and select the Mode ('ACCOUNT', 'MODEL', 'GROUP', 'ACCOUNT TYPE', 'STORE', 'STORE GROUP', 'ENTERPRISE') that the pricing setups will be copied from. 

 

Select Mode to Copy To

'SELECT MODE'

Click the drop-down field and select the Mode ('ACCOUNT', 'MODEL', 'GROUP', 'ACCOUNT TYPE', 'STORE', 'STORE GROUP', 'ENTERPRISE') that the pricing setups will be copied to. 

 

Depending on the Mode selected an additional setup will display:

 

ACCOUNT

Click the 'SELECT ACCOUNTS' button to open the 'SET ACCOUNTS' window. Check each account, to add it to the lower 'SELECTED ACCOUNTS' section, that the 'ACCOUNT' Mode pricing setups will be copied from and click ‘OK’.

 

 

MODEL

Check each Model in the 'SELECT MODELS' grid that the 'MODEL' Mode pricing setups will be copied from. 

 

 

GROUP

Check each Group in the 'SELECT GROUPS' grid that the 'GROUP' Mode pricing setups will be copied from. 

 

 

ACCOUNT TYPE

Check each Account Type in the 'SELECT ACCOUNT TYPES' grid that the 'ACCOUNT TYPE' Mode pricing setups will be copied from. 

 

 

STORE

Check each Store in the 'SELECT LOCATIONS' grid that the 'STORE' Mode pricing setups will be copied from. 

 

 

STORE GROUP

Check each Store Group in the 'SELECT STORE GROUPS' grid that the 'STORE GROUP' Mode pricing setups will be copied from. 

 

 

ENTERPRISE

 

 

Copy Setups

'FROM SETUP TYPE'

Click the drop-down field and select the 'SETUP TYPE' of the pricing setups that will be copied.

 

'TO SETUP TYPE'

Click the drop-down field and select the 'SETUP TYPE' that the setups will be copied as.

 

 

'QUANTITY BREAKS' can only be copied to 'QUANTITY BREAKS'. All other Setup Types ('CONTRACT PRICE', 'SALE DATE', and 'MFG') can be copied to each other. 

'Select Setups to Copy From'
Once the copy to and from fields are selected, the lower grid fills with the setups from the ‘From’ selections.

 

Check the small checkbox to select all pricing setups in the grid, or check only the setups to be copied.

 

'SHOW CALC SETUPS'
The 'SHOW CALC SETUPS' field filters the rows in the grid by the 'CALC' value in order to narrow the setups copied. Leave it set to 'ALL' to copy all setups or select a single 'CALC' type to copy those setups only. 

 

Only the 'CALC' type selected will be copied. For example, check all rows with 'ALL' selected, then select 'SELL' and all rows are unchecked.

 

When setups are selected, ‘Select Pricing Mode’ changes to ‘Copy (Account, Model, Group, Account Type, Store, Store Group, Enterprise) Pricing Mode'.

 

 

When ready, click the 'COPY' button and the selected setups will be copied. When done, the system prompts that the copy process is complete.

 

 

Copied setups are appended to existing setups.

 

Expired setups do not display in the grid and cannot be copied.
