Profiles
A Report Profile is simply a way to save report parameters so the setups do not have to be reset each time the report is run.
Profiles may be saved and loaded when manually running the report, and / or added to a batch to run automatically on a timed schedule in the TASK SCHEDULER.
Click the 'PROFILE' button and the 'SAVE AND LOAD PROFILES' window opens. The window displays a list of existing profiles that were created, allows new profiles to be saved, existing profiles to be saved over, or for profiles to be loaded or deleted.
Save a Profile
To create a new report profile, enter the report parameters on the report screen, and click the 'PROFILE' button to open the 'SAVE AND LOAD PROFILES' window.
Click the 'SAVE' button and a pop-up opens to enter the report 'PROPERTIES'.

Enter up to 80 alphanumeric characters as the profile name.
Optionally enter up to 150 alphanumeric and special characters to describe the profile.
EDIT ACCESS
Determines who is able to edit an existing profile.
- 'ALL' – All employees are able to edit the profile.
- 'STORE' – All employees depending on store access as set up in EMPLOYEE SECURITY setup.
- 'CREATOR' – Only the employee that created the profile can access it.
VIEW ACCESS
Determines who is able to view an existing profile in the 'SAVE AND LOAD PROFILES' pop-up grid list.
- 'ALL' – All employees are able to see the profile.
- 'STORE' – All employees can see the profile depending on store access as set up in EMPLOYEE SECURITY setup.
- 'CREATOR' – Only the employee that created the profile can see it.
Click 'SAVE' to save any entries, or 'CANCEL' to discard entries and return to 'SAVE AND LOAD PROFILES'.
To reopen the properties pop-up, with a Profile highlighted in the grid, click the 'PROPERTIES' button to re-display the pop-up.
Load a Profile
With the 'SAVE AND LOAD PROFILES' window open, to load a profile, either double-click the profile row or single-click the profile row and click 'LOAD'.
Control will return to the report selection screen and populate the screen with the parameters from the profile.

Click the 'REPORT' drop-down to display saved profiles for a single report option.
If the report does not have 'Quick Reporting Options', the field defaults to 'N/A' and is grayed-out and unavailable. If the report does have 'Quick Reporting Options', the field defaults to 'ALL'.

With a profile loaded on the report screen, the profile parameters can be edited opening the 'SAVE AND LOAD PROFILES' window, selecting the same profile name, and clicking 'SAVE'. If renamed, both the original and the new profile will be available.
The grid displays profile information:
- 'ID' – System-generated unique ID, used mainly for support purposes and also appears on report footers for output generated by Task Scheduler only.
- 'CREATED BY' – Populated automatically with the Login ID of the employee that created or last updated the profile.
- 'CREATE DATE' – Populated automatically with the date and time the profile was created or last updated.
- 'IN STORE' – For multi-store. Populated automatically with the store number in which the profile was created or last updated. Employee securities control access to the stores that can be output in a profile.
- 'REPORT' – The report name.
Delete a Profile
To delete an existing profile:
- Highlight the profile row in the grid.
- Click 'DELETE'.
If the profile is assigned to a batch, a pop-up opens stating, "WARNING: This profile is currently assigned to [number of] batches. Deleting this profile will result in that profile not being delivered in those batches. Are you sure you want to delete this profile anyway?" Answer:
- 'YES' and the profile is deleted and the profile is also removed from any batch it is assigned to.
- 'NO' and the profile will not be deleted.

If a profile is currently NOT assigned to any batches, an "Are you sure?" pop-up will display instead. Answer:
- 'YES' and the profile will be deleted. Control returns to the 'SAVE AND LOAD PROFILES' pop-up with the previous profile row selected.
- 'NO' and the profile is not deleted.
