Kits Purchasing

All kits parts are excluded from both purchase and return orders.

On the ORDER CREATE screen, when there is an attempt to add a kit part to an order from the 'WRITE-IN PO FORM' pop-up, a prompt displays with the following text: "A kit part cannot be added to a purchase or return order." with an 'OK' button.

On the ORDER CREATE screen, kit parts can be included in a 'WRITE-IN' import file, or a 'SCAN-IN' session, for any purchase or return order:

The application loads all kit parts from the imported file, or the scanned session, into the 'Parts' tab's list of parts with all other parts.

However, when the 'Order' button is clicked, the application "silently" excludes all kit parts from being included on the created order, regardless of the value of the option 'Include Imported NIF'. The application does not display any error messages.

The application includes any kit component part (as a regular part not linked to any kit part) on any purchase or return order per existing functionality.
